GavelOS LLC
Privacy policy
Effective 2026-10-05 · Version 1.0
How GavelOS handles information on this website and in business inquiries.
Who we are and what this policy covers
GavelOS LLC, doing business as GavelOS, provides software for auction companies. This policy covers gavelos.com and communications you send to us about our business.
This public website does not provide an account login, collect payments, or connect to customer workspaces. The Sign in link takes you to the separate GavelOS application. Information handled in that application, or by an auction company using GavelOS, is outside the scope of this website policy.
Information you choose to share
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any details you choose to include, such as your name, company, and software needs. We use this information to respond, arrange demonstrations, provide support, and manage our business relationship.
The demo request form prepares a message in your browser. You can then open it in your email application or copy it into an email. Completing the form does not submit your inquiry to our website server. You decide whether to send the email. Your email application and provider handle the message when you do.
Please do not include passwords, full payment-card details, government identification numbers, or confidential bidder, seller, or customer records in an inquiry.
Website traffic and service providers
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, request times, browser or device information, and diagnostic or security records. Cloudflare provides our domain services and email routing. Messages sent to our published email addresses are forwarded to our business mailbox and processed by our email service providers.
These providers handle information to operate their services, subject to their own terms and privacy practices. We do not add advertising trackers or marketing analytics to this website.
We use service providers to host the website, deliver communications, and protect our services. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. We do not sell inquiry information or share it for targeted advertising.
Retention and security
We retain business correspondence for the purposes described here, including follow-up, support, recordkeeping, and handling disputes or legal obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the relationship and the records involved. Technical and email records are also subject to our providers' retention practices.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Access to business correspondence is limited to people and service providers who need it for the purposes described in this policy.
Your questions and requests
You may ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop optional follow-up by emailing privacy@gavelos.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Applicable law, recordkeeping needs, and the rights of others may limit what we can delete or disclose. These requests do not affect rights you have under applicable law.
This website is intended for business representatives, rather than children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact privacy@gavelos.com.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our website and practices change. The effective date and version identify the published policy.
